My research into stage magic proceeds. I decided that I would seek out a sensei to show me at least some rudimentary tricks, and found a man whom, in exchange for my doing his taxes, is demonstrating how to perform various slight of hand illusions. Memorizing the steps is simple, but making my hands do what I want them to is maddeningly frustrating.
